Tone Loc Collapses On Stage
(TMZ) Tone Loc collapsed on stage during a performance on Saturday night ... TMZ has learned.

Lindsay Lohan Facing A Year In Jail
(TMZ) Lindsay Lohan could be sentenced to nearly a year-and-a-half in jail if Judge Stephanie Sautner decides she violated her probation ... TMZ has learned.

We're told the computations are complicated, because Lindsay has had so many cases. But based on the 120 day suspended sentence for shoplifting, time served under house arrest, and her prior DUIs, Lindsay could be thrown in jail for a long, long time.

We've learned Lindsay MUST be in court Wednesday to face the judge ... and the judge has lots of questions, including why Lindsay was a no-show 9 times at the Downtown Women's Center, where she was performing her community service. And the judge will almost certainly want to know why Lindsay didn't comply with the order to spend a minimum of 4 hours at a time when she showed up at the Women's Center.

TMZ broke the story, Lindsay was booted from the Women's Center because of all the problems and reassigned to the American Red Cross.

And one more thing. The judge will almost certainly ask Lindsay why she didn't meet with her shrink every Monday for 1 hour, as required by court order. Lindsay claims she did a bunch of therapy sessions by phone.

TMZ will be livestreaming Wednesday's hearing, which starts at 10:00 AM PT, so stay tuned.

Jennifer Lopez Dating Again?
(TMZ) Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lopez are not a couple just yet ... but a source close to the pair tells TMZ they are indeed "casually dating."

As TMZ first reported, the two went on a dinner date in New York City last month. They had not been spotted out again until yesterday -- when a photo surfaced of Bradley Cooper driving an SUV and a woman who certainly looked like JLo ... covering her face in the passenger seat.

According to our sources, the woman in the photo is definitely JLo. We're told the two enjoy each other's company but are keeping things simple for now.

So while they aren't boyfriend/girlfriend yet, our sources say "they are definitely dating." more on this story

Tupac Sex Tape Rap Offer
(TMZ) Good news on the Tupac Shakur sex tape front ... Pac's estate has finally begun talks with a potential buyer ... but it ain't for the XXX part ... it's all about the music.

As TMZ first reported, an anti-hangover drink company called NOHO has offered to pay $1,000,000 for the rights to the unreleased song 2Pac was rapping along with ... while he was being "tended to" by a very friendly female in the 1991 footage.

Sources connected to the negotiations tell us ... the offer was big enough to catch the estate's attention, because a rep for Pac's people reached out to NOHO and the two sides are trying to work out a deal.

There's only one problem ... the estate doesn't have possession of the sex tape and aren't even sure which song is playing on it.

Oh yeah ... NOHO hasn't heard the song either -- but the CEO is banking on the fact that it's a Tupac song ... which means is has to be awesome.

We're told if the estate can't get a hold of the tape, they have other unreleased Tupac songs they're willing to part with ... if the price is right. more on this story

Early reviews for the record have been nothing short of glowing.

Security Scare at Johnny Depp's Home
(TMZ) L.A.P.D. officers rolled over to Johnny Depp's L.A. mansion early Friday morning ... responding to a call about a possible breach in security ... but TMZ has learned, it was simply a "false alarm."

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Johnny wasn't home at the time ... but when officers arrived to the house, they checked out the property to make sure everything was okay.

Eventually, cops determined there was no actual threat -- and Johnny's house got the "all clear." more on this story

Disney Star Sentenced To Look Death in the Face For DUI
(TMZ) Shelby Cobra -- who used to sing for that Disney girl band KSM -- just got sentenced in her DUI case ... and the judge took no mercy ... ordering her to look death right in the face at a hospital morgue.

TMZ broke the story ... 18-year-old Cobra -- real name Shelby Spalione -- was arrested last month on suspicion of DUI ... registering a blood alcohol level of .15, nearly twice the legal limit.

Shelby was sentenced on Thursday to enroll in the L.A. County Hospital and Morgue program -- which requires participants to visit a real-life morgue with real-life dead people ... and potentially even witness an autopsy.

According to court records, Shelby is also required to complete a 3-month alcohol education program and attend 16 AA meetings. She's also required to pay $1,738 in fees.

Remember kids, don't drink and drive. more on this story

No Relationship Rehab For Survivor Villain and Top Model
(TMZ) Former "Survivor" villain Jonny Fairplay has once again been REJECTED by his ex-wife ... who SHOT DOWN an offer to reunite on a VH1 reality show ... because she still hates his guts.

TMZ has learned ... Fairplay and his ex Michelle Deighton -- a former "Top Model" contestant -- were both asked to appear on the upcoming VH1 show "Relationship Rehab."

The show would require both Johnny and Michele to attend couple's therapy together ... while living in the same house during production. Both were offered a lucrative 5-figure deal.

Johnny agreed immediately ... but Deighton, not so much ...

Not only did she TURN DOWN the offer, but she also told producers she still HATES Johnny so much, she wouldn't live under the same roof with the guy for A MILLION DOLLARS.

Deighton and Fairplay divorced earlier this year -- Michelle claimed the relationship was simply "unhealthy."

Steven Tyler Movie?
A biopic about Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge Steven Tyler may be coming. Apparently one 70s icon has taken the initial step to make a film about this 70s iconic rocker.

Tyler tells Women's Wear Daily that Happy Days star turned film director Ron Howard has purchased the rights to his biography, 'Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?'.

However, Tyler has no idea when or if the film will be made. According to Ultimate Classic Rock he said, "it's either as soon as the plane goes down, or in my lifetime. I'm thinking since Ron Howard bought my book, his production company is thinking about doing something." more on this story

It doesn't need to be 20 shows and it doesn't need to be one show – somewhere in the middle there, I think, to give everyone a taste of it and just see what it's like."

More Rush Classics Getting 5.1 Treatment
(hennemusic) Rush producer/mixer/engineer Richard Chycki had some exciting news for fans of the band. He blogged this weekend:

Based on the strong feedback from the Moving Pictures 5.1 remix, Universal Records had asked me to remix Fly By Night, A Farewell To Kings and Signals in surround to be included in their 'Sector' series of box set releases currently underway. Like Moving Pictures, all the multitrack masters I worked with were transferred from the original analog tapes at 96 kHz/24 bit resolution and this quality was maintained right down to the finished master. Listeners are in for a revelation of new detail for these releases.

Currently, Rush, producer Nick Raskulinecz and myself are reconvening to complete the recording of Rush's next studio album, Clockwork Angels. Sorry, no timeline for completion yet …" more on this story

Sibling Rivalry Preventing Kinks Reunion
(Rock News Desk) Dave Davies says a Kinks reunion couldn't last more than an hour – because he couldn't put up with his brother Ray for any longer. And he says he tries not to think about the band he spent 32 years with.

A regathering has been on and off in recent years with both brothers moving towards and away from the idea. But now Dave says he couldn't consider getting back together because he'd be forced into a second-fiddle position.

"I thought what we were doing in the Kinks was collaborative. But Ray uses different words to me. He would talk about me as his muse," He tells the Telegraph. "So I'm important to be in his life, but only as a support for what he's doing. That's a pretty hard pill to swallow." more on this story

The Who's Quadrophenia Revisited
(hennemusic) The Who are reissuing their 1973 classic, "Quadrophenia," next month, in various formats including a "Quadrophenia: The Director's Cut" boxset, on November 14th (UK) and November 15th (US).

Considered by Pete Townshend himself to be the Who album that he is most proud of, "Quadrophenia" is the last album in the Who back catalogue to be given the deluxe treatment. See the full track listing below.

Based around the story of Jimmy – Quadrophenia tells the tale of a young mod and his struggle to come of age in the mid-1960s. The story also takes its influence from the band's early fans from the original mod era, and its themes of teenage angst and disaffection still resonate today. more on this story

First Pressing of Led Zeppelin Album Fetches High Price Online
(Gibson) Vinyl's not dead. Indeed, it costs more than ever if you want the right disc. An early copy of Led Zeppelin's first album, simply titled Led Zeppelin, has sold on eBay for £2,200 (approximately $3,500).

This example of a first Led Zeppelin pressing is rare: it has a turquoise sleeve, a Superhype label credit and an all-important – to collectors – "label matrix" of "Side 1: 588171 A//1" and "Side 2: 588171 B//1."

Is the music any different to that on your old copy/CD/MP3 version of Led Zeppelin? No. But the seller stated, "This is the most perfect example that I have ever seen and I think that it is very unlikely that you'll find a better one." more on this story

Singled Out: Janet Robbins' Gypsy Tree
Today Janet Robbins tells us about "Gypsy Tree" from her brand new album "Sparks". Here is the story:

Sparks may be my favorite track from the Cd. I was living in Asheville NC when I wrote it. It began from a piece of a guitar loop I'd made, sort of a rhythmic drone part and I began singing over it. The melody was there from the beginning so I started working on lyric.

I like to write in the hours before sunrise during fall and winter months, and from my home there in Asheville, I could see Mt. Pisgah and the Blue Ridge mountains, usually with a cloud of mist at the base and over the valley. This song is part prayer, thank you note, and reminder. For the gifts of this earth I'm so grateful. For whatever spark of divinity we might be inspired by, I pray for. And in this realm, this society of death culture, remember to live a passionate life.

Michael Jackson Doctor May Get House Arrest If Convicted
(TMZ) If Dr. Conrad Murray is convicted of felony involuntary manslaughter (of Michael Jackson) and sentenced to the maximum -- 4 years in state prison -- he will not spend a single day in prison ... and he could end up on house arrest.

A new law went into effect in California on October 1, which says, because of overcrowding, people convicted of non-violent felonies cannot be sent to State prison. Instead, non-violent felons serve their time in county jail.

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... involuntary manslaughter is a non-violent felony, which means if Murray is convicted he'd go to L.A. County Jail.

As for how much time Murray would serve ... L.A. County Sheriff's officials tell TMZ ... Murray would be jailed for half the actual sentence. So if he gets the max -- 4 years -- he would only serve 2.

But there's a twist ... Murray could actually serve way less than 2 years. Because of severe overcrowding, inmates are eligible for house arrest, based on 2 factors -- their prior criminal history, and risk to the community. Murray has a clean record and, as one law enforcement official put it, he poses no risk ... it's not like he's going to go out with a bottle of Propofol and kill people.

So if the jail is filled to the gills, the Sheriff could put him on house arrest with an electronic monitoring bracelet. But one official from the Sheriff's Department told us ... Murray wouldn't be placed on house arrest right out of the box. He would almost certainly do some time before the jailhouse doors would open. more on this story

Lindsay Lohan Facing Return To Jail?
(TMZ) Lindsay Lohan has violated the judge's order in her probation case by not seeing a psychologist at least once a week ... TMZ has learned ... and that may be enough to send her to the slammer.

Judge Stephanie Sautner made it clear to Lindsay during her sentence last May ... she MUST see the shrink every week, but she has not. We're told one of her excuses is that she's been working out of the country, but Judge Sautner made it extremely clear ... work is not an excuse for failing to comply with the terms of probation. And, Judge Sautner said, if Lindsay violates any court order, she's going to jail ... period.

As we first reported, it's even worse, because Lindsay was kicked out of the Downtown Women's Center, where Judge Sautner ordered her to perform 360 hours of community service ... kicked out because she repeatedly failed to show up, and when she did she frequently did not stay the required 4 hours at a time. That's another violation of Judge Sautner's court order.

And there's even more bad news for Lindsay. Judge Sautner is going to be extremely unhappy when she learns how much community service Lindsay has completed. Sources connected with the Probation Department tell us, as of September 30, Lindsay logged a grand total of 21 hours, leaving 339 hours which must be completed by May 11, 2012.

Short story ... Lindsay could go to jail next week, when she appears before Judge Sautner for her progress report. more on this story

Singled Out: Drop The Lime's Shake Baby Shake
Today Drop The Lime tells us about the new single "Shake Baby Shake". Here is the story:

The rain was falling hard, the city streets were packed with umbrellas and midnight hounds in heat. I was late for practice, traffic was bad. DQ, my drummer shouted through the wire, "hurry up, the Limettes made a new dance routine, it's simply unbelievable!" 45 minutes later, I came crashing through the rehearsal space doors, soaking wet, umbrella black like tar, door slammed shut behind me and the music stopped. DQ spit onto his snare, and rattlesnakes the sticks into infinity. Kacie and Kate snapped into a shaking move as I shook the umbrella off to dry.

I plugged the guitar in, and we get to our usual jam session before rehearsal. We dove into 50's classics like johnny b goode, wipeout, train kept a rollin… and then it happened. The still wet umbrella slumped in the corner, lonely stared up at us, needing to shake. Kacie turned and yelled, "shake!" and Kate, "Shake!" and DQ, "Shake shake baby shake!". The absurdness of the situation caused a riot of laughter in the room. I continued to play wipeout strumming the opening note over and over faster and faster as DQ laid a 4/4 kick drum over top. Something happened that rainy Brooklyn night. A new song was brought to life, all from a little wet black umbrella.

Metallica and Lou Reed Talk Lulu
(hennemusic) "Lulu," the collaborative work between Lou Reed and Metallica, sees its release on Halloween, which somehow seems appropriate: based on the initial reaction of Metallica fans, this album may scare the hell out a lot of them.

The project is definitely going to take Metallica fans out of their comfort zone, as evident by the fan-created version of the first track, "The View" – which sees Reed's vocals removed and the 6-minute piece trimmed to about half its original length.

"Lulu" also took the musicians out of their comfort zone, and both sides knew they'd be stepping out on a creative ledge. There is now some video clips from Reed and Metallica explaining various aspects of the project. Check them out here

Evanescence and Five Finger Death Punch Prove Rock Is Still Very Alive
(Gibson) If there was ever a question about the loyalty of Evanescence fans, that's gone, as the Arkansas-based, goth-inspired rockers' self-titled third studio album is projected to sell between 110,000 and 120,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The numbers are predicted by several industry forecasters and are based on one-day sales reports generated after the album was released on October 11 via Wind-up Records.

Evanescence's new release, if it reaches #1, will denote frontwoman Amy Lee and the collective's second #1 album, succeeding The Open Door in 2006. The Open Door debuted with 447,000 copies sold. The band's debut, 2003's Fallen, pushed a sky-scraping 7.6 million copies total in the U.S.

Heavy hit-makers Five Finger Death Punch are also projected to rake in a high total, as they're projected to move 85,000 to 90,000 copies of their new album, American Capitalist, this week in the U.S. The group's previous release, 2009's War is the Answer, enjoyed a 44,000 launch week. more on this story

From Captain Kirk To Metalhead
(Rock News Desk) Star Trek icon William Shatner admits he was never comfortable with heavy metal until he made his new record In Search of Major Tom. In fact, before he started work he'd never even heard of Queen or Bohemian Rhapsody.

Working with Wylde helped Shatner open his mind to the emotional breadth of heavy music as the pair worked on his over of Black Sabbath's Iron Man. "Heavy metal music made me turn away over the years, not understanding heavy metal," the actor says. "In my first attempt to do the lyric I realised the lyric spoke of Hell – it was like Hell to me."

Of Wylde, Shatner says: "I've never seen finger fly on a fretboard so quickly. He spent the whole day laying out his track and laying down another track on top of that. He was intricately working that song like an actor would do with a Shakespeare soliloquy, where every word has a meaning and our try and get the rhythm and the meaning and the sense – and yet throw it away so it doesn't seem obvious that you're working it. This guy blew my mind." more on this story

Radiohead Plan Next Move
(Gibson) The guys in Radiohead are plenty busy these days. After releasing The King of Limbs earlier this year, and a 2-CD remix collection, titled TKOL RMX 1234567, more recently – the band has plans to go back into the studio by year's end, according to Rolling Stone.

"We can get things together quite rapidly at the moment," frontman Thom Yorke said, referencing a song called "Come to Your Senses." "We have this version of it. It's a five-minute rehearsal, but it has the essence of what we need."

That's not the only song that's in pretty good shape at this point. "There are a few of those. It would be fun to have them ready when we go to play next year. I don't know how we would release them," he said. "It would be nice to make it all part of the flow and just enjoy it – not think about it too much." more on this story

Iron Maiden for Tots

The Osbournes Open Up
(hennemusic) With a new book, "Trust Me, I'm Dr. Ozzy," to promote, it's no wonder Sharon Osbourne used her connection with fellow America's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan to secure a full hour on his CNN show Tuesday night to help Ozzy spread the word, on the day of its release.

Joining Ozzy and Sharon was son Jack, as the three recounted some of their most publicized stories…from Ozzy trying to kill his wife to dealing with addictions, near-death experiences, and the old story about the bat.

In between, there's moments of genuine reflection by all three Osbournes on what they've lived through and those they've lived with, including both Sharon and Ozzy speaking about their late fathers. No spoilers here, though, for anyone who hasn't heard the stories before, or the headlines about the appearance itself – just sit back and check it out.

Classic Rolling Stones Concert Hitting Theaters
The Rolling Stones "Some Girls Live In Texas '78" will have a special theatrical screening on Tuesday, October 18.

The never-before-seen Rolling Stones concert was filmed live in Fort Worth, Texas on July 18, 1978.

The Rolling Stones' Some Girls Tour is widely believed to be one of the bands' greatest concerts, largely because it was in many ways back to basics both in musical and staging terms. It meant a return to a mixture of classic Stones numbers ("Tumbling Dice," "Honky Tonk Woman", "Brown Sugar", and "Jumpin' Jack Flash") mixed with blues numbers and Chuck Berry covers, as well as including a large number of songs from the newly released Some Girls LP, including "Miss You" and "Beast of Burden". more on this story

Cavazo accepted an offer from Ratt's Warren DeMartini to become the glam metal outfit's second axeman, leaving Croucier's outfit the Dirty Rats to do so.

Despite that, the bassist says he and Cavazo remain friends – although he can't say the same for DeMartini. more on this story

Grunge Drove Kelly Hansen To Foreigner
(Rock News Desk) Foreigner singer Kelly Hansen asked Mick Jones for the job of replacing Lou Gramm in Foreigner – even though he knew it would be a difficult role to play.

The vocalist felt a leap of faith was the only thing which could rescue his career from the doldrums after his first big band, Hurricane, were wiped out by the grunge explosion of the early 1990s.

"Grunge music came along and obliterated the metal scene, which was where we were coming from. I had to take a back seat and not do very much singing for the next several years," Hansen tells Mercury News. "I was working a lot harder for a lot less return in the mid 90s, as I think a lot of people were. You start to say to yourself, 'Wait a minute, earlier in my career, everything used to just come to me. I never had to actually pursue things.' more on this story

Jane's Addiction Never Really Break Up
(Rock News Desk) Jane's Addiction stopped physically fighting with each other twenty years ago, but they still don't hang out together much – and the band say that's what keeps their music fresh.

They're poised to release The Great Escape Artist, just their fourth album in their 26-year history, next week. And with the second, and seemingly final, departure of bassist Eric Avery, the three core members of Jane's – frontman Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins – believe they've achieved a balance that works for them, even if it involves taking regular breaks.

Navarro tells CNN: "I'm not really sure how many times we've parted ways. I wasn't really one of the people who thought we wouldn't be back together, primarily because we've gotten back together so many times over the years.

"We don't break up any more – we just go on five-year hiatuses." more on this story

Judas Priest Will Still Play Live and Record New Music
(Gibson) Please don't fall for the dirty rumor that Judas Priest are packing up their heavy metal suits and calling it quits. While the band's current Epitaph World Tour is being billed as their last showing, the British metal kingpins are merely staying away from any overly ambitious, global tour after Epitaph, but they still plan to make music and play shows.

"This is our last world tour, but that doesn't mean it will be our last live performances, and we'll certainly do more albums," guitarist Glenn Tipton told Noisecreep.

The men of Judas Priest are having a killer last bout on the worldwide front. "It's been incredible," Tipton said. "... We're fortunate across the board, really. We're obviously popular in America and throughout Europe – we've just done a great European tour – and a lot of the Latin countries, Spanish-speaking countries. We go to these far corners of the planet, places like Turkey or Chile, and 15,000 or 20,000 kids show up, so we're very lucky, really." more on this story

Peter Criss of KISS Reflects On Getting Older
(Gibson) Nobody likes getting old – not even rock stars. Just ask Peter Criss, founding drummer of KISS. In fact, Criss doesn't even want to talk about turning 66, which happens this year.

"Ohhhhhh, I hate it!" he jokingly told Ultimate Classic Rock. "We don't even talk about it, ever since I turned 60. But three is my lucky number, and those are double threes, so I'm expecting a really dynamite year. I feel real positive about a bunch of things coming up for me.

"I'm not alone, I look at other rock guys, like the Stones and Zeppelin and The Who, just all these people, we're all the same age. So I'm in good company. All the guys my age were around in the great times, when music was changing, when Vietnam was happening, and the British Invasion." more on this story

Brian Wilson Going Disney Details
(Gibson) While fans wait to see if Brian Wilson will rejoin original Beach Boys Mike Love and Al Jardine for a 50th anniversary reunion, the pop music legend has been working on a new album of Disney favorites. Rolling Stone reports that when the folks at Disney approached Wilson, he responded enthusiastically. "I said I'd love to do it," he said. "I flipped."

Wilson will release In the Key of Disney on October 25. The album features the former Beach Boy taking on tunes made famous in films such as The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, Dumbo, The Lion King and Wilson's favorite Disney movie, Pinocchio. You can hear his version of "The Bare Necessities" from The Jungle Book by clicking here.

"I tried to put the Beach Boys style to it – a combination of Beach Boys and Disney," he said. Wilson said it wasn't easy putting his spin on some classic songs. "When I listen to it I think to myself, 'How in the heck did we pull that off?'" more on this story

Singled Out: Edge Of Paradise's Mask
Today Margarita Martirosyan from Edge Of Paradise tells us about the title track from their brand new album "Mask". Here is the story:

The title of our single "Mask" represents the song's meaning, literally and figuratively speaking. The song was written by Dave Bates and Ryan Jones, while coming to terms with the tragic departure of a former drummer, who took his own life. However, the song depicts different scenarios of desperation and the feeling of hopelessness. I know, Ryan's motivation for "Mask" was his prior battle with his own demons, while Dave's inspiration came from trying to understand how a person, with no noticeable signs of depression, in fact, completely opposite, had such dark thoughts that lead to this tragic ending.

The song was initially called "To Believe", and as I came into the picture, I was figuring out what the song meant to me, drawing from Ryan's lyrics, which really translated his message and emotion. Unfortunately, I never got to meet the drummer, and will never know what drove him to such a dark end, but these events, cause us to reflect inwards and examine our own battles within our minds. At the end, we all try to find something that might free us of this struggle. This is a huge part of the song as the opening lyrics begin with "If you ever find me, could you, untie me. I'm battling my mind, depression, suicide…" And the chorus really takes it further with "…to taste the rain, and have no pain…"

There is a line in the song "…It seems that every time when I wake, I'm always wearing this miserable face…" To us, it means that we all have our own masks, which we hide behind to deal with the cards we were dealt. Especially, living in this day and age, there are very few people who actually open up and reveal their face. So the lyrics "…this miserable face…" changed to "…this miserable mask…". And from this point forward the song kind of evolved into what you hear and see on the video. We even rethought our whole record as it was initially, going to be titled "Back To The Ground", lyrics from the first track on the CD, "Falling Down". It was definitely a choice that felt right. And recording the song was really cool and exciting, as we were solidifying the sound of the band.

We really want listeners to take away from this song, that it is possible to "breath the night, to feel alive". We heard various interpretations of what the song means to different people, and we want them to take something different from it as well! Something that will make them look inside and relate to things in their own way and maybe even give them some sort of a positive outlook!

Slipknot Plan To Make New Album
Slipknot's Shawn "Clown" Crahan tells Kerrang! that the band have plans to record a new album but fans shouldn't hold their breath waiting for it.

Loadwire reports: "There's plans [to make another record] but that's a way off," Crahan said. "No one will push it, because it's going to be a big one. It'll be closer to 'Iowa', but it'll be sadder and crazier and really thought provoking, it could even be conceptual."

Understandably, Crahan added, Slipknot are going to take their time with the project because they're still dealing with the loss of bassist Paul Gray, who died May 24, 2010, in a hotel in Urbandale, Iowa. more on this story

Axl Rose Snaps
(hennemusic) It sounds, and looks, like a TMZ moment, but eyewitness reports indicate Axl Rose snapped at fans at a Rosario, Argentina airport Monday night, following the band's performance at Salon Metropolitano.

A GNR fan shot the footage, and she states in her comments that it is Axl arriving at the terminal. The rough translation of the Spanish text by the fan is that Axl arrived at the airport to take his private jet; when the VIP gate wasn't working, he was forced to use the main entrance, and fans descended upon the car when it pulled up the main entrance.

The video shows a dark SUV arriving at the curb; as fans gather and one approaches the car, Axl gets out of the back seat, slamming the door in anger while yelling, "Get the f**k away from me, you f**king idiot." More including the video

Sebastian Bach Assault And Mischief Charges Dropped
(Rock News Desk) Assault and mischief charges against Sebastian Bach have been dropped, but Canadian legal officials didn't tell the singer's accuser.

Bach was arrested in his hometown of Peterborough, Ontario, in November last year after an altercation in a local pub. Video footage showed him appear to break a wine glass after being asked to leave the premises.

Now all charges have been abandoned after prosecutors accepted it was unlikely Bach would be found guilty due to lack of evidence. His lawyer, Jim Hauraney, says the musician will donate $700 to a city charity by way of apology. more on this story

Evanescence Plan To Rock The Globe
Evanescence kicked off their North American tour in support of their new self-titled album this week but they are already looking ahead to future tour plans.

Loudwire reports that frontwoman Amy Lee announces that the band is already working on adding a second leg of U.S. tour dates that will hopefully kick off in late January 2012. If you live outside of the U.S., don't fret, Evanescence are also planning to bring their show around the globe. Lee says, "We're gonna be all over the world — we always tour the world, but this time we're making a point to try to hit a lot the countries that we've always wanted to go to and have never been to."

She adds, "We've never been to Indonesia, or whatever. So yeah, we've got a big list of places that we're gonna be touring for the foreseeable future." more on this story

Dave Grohl To The Rescue
(Banana 101.5) Cage the Elephant were in danger of missing their opening slot for Foo Fighters in Salt Lake City this week after their drummer's appendix burst. Luckily there was a pretty kick ass drummer already there and willing to sit in for a few songs — Dave Grohl.

Dave Grohl made a name for himself beating the skins for Nirvana, and still occasionally plays in the Foo Fighters' off cycles — most recently for Them Crooked Vultures. Though Dave fronts one of the world's biggest rock bands, he is still well respected (and rightfully so) as a rock drummer.

So when the Kentucky alt-rockers Cage the Elephant found their drummer Jared Champion hospitalized for appendix issues just hours before the show, Dave volunteered his services so they could still open for his band. A few songs into their set with a substitute drummer, Grohl made his way to the stage and finished out the last five songs of the set. more on this story

Jack's Mannequin Score Top 10 Debut
Jack's Mannequin scored an impressive showing for their third release, People and Things, which debuted at no. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Albums Chart and at no. 9 on the overall Billboard 200 chart this week.

The band is out now on a headlining tour that kicked off last week with a special show with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra where they created symphonic arrangements for some of their best-known hits.

11 short films were created for every song on People and Things. Andrew McMahon wanted to provide an artistic visual counterpart to the album and enlisted the help of independent film directors from around the world, many of which he found on Vimeo. The films debuted in a special screening at Angelika Theatre in NYC last week and are all now streaming on YouTube. more on this story

The Monkees May Return To The Road
(Gibson) This past summer saw three of the four original Monkees reunite for a 45th anniversary tour. That tour broke down prematurely after 43 shows, but guitarist Peter Tork says the '60s pop group will likely hit the road again in the not-too-distant future.

"It would probably be in the next year or two," Tork told RollingStone.com, when asked how long the wait might be. "But obviously nothing is settled yet, and until we see a settlement in sight, we can't even begin to arrange a tour. Once you start arranging a tour, you may be able to get it mounted about six or seven months down the road."

Tork declined to offer details regarding why this year's tour was abruptly halted. "There were some business affairs that couldn't be coordinated correctly," he said. "We hit a glitch and there was just this weird dislocation at one point. I can't say anything more…" more on this story

Def Leppard To Change Things Up
(Rock News Desk) Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott says the band are planning to evolve their set on their current tour – but not because a forum user kicked up a stink about them playing the same songs every night.

Elliott reacted with rage in August after someone he described as a "f**king moron" objected to Def Lep using the same setlist on a number of occasions.

At the time he explained it was because he was getting over the recent death of his father, so he was playing things safe. Now he allows there's an opportunity to add new and old songs to their performances – but it's a natural development and not kowtowing to the "internet brigade." more on this story

Agents of Mercy Release New Concept Album
(Glass Onyon) Agents of Mercy have released their new concept album, 'The Black Forest,' which features one 56-minute mega-tune of prog bliss edited into separate slices

Now you've heard the term 'concept' a million times, but the new album by Agents of Mercy takes the idiom to a higher level, all the while pushing the prog envelope to its extremes.

'The Black Forest' is a surreal journey – a mysteriously glowing metaphor for a trip through dark, disturbing, scary times; a lifelong uncertain journey encompassed by greed, lust, hunger for power and money, eternal life, and mind control. And guess what – we're the prey!!! This is Agents of Mercy's first concept album with a longer song format. Tales of dark future times, seen through the eyes of a weary traveler in wiggly warped woods of our imaginary journey some 300 years ago. Elzbeth Bathory meets unholy rapists and flesheaters in a quiet town and deformed freaks of a traveling sinister circus haunt you at bedtime. Did you lock the door? Is the monster your neighbor? more on this story

Singled Out: SS-Kaliert's Russian Roulette
Today Benni Whitley from SS-Kaliert tells us about "Russian Roulette" from their brand new album "Subzero". Here is the story:

The idea for "Russian Roulette" came from when we played four shows behind the iron curtain. We got such massive support from everyone at all four shows… more so than anywhere else in the entire world. Many unbelievable things happened to us that really left us speechless. Some were really shocking – (Nazi's making a bomb threat on the venue in St. Petersburg to sabotage the show, or running into cops who will pull you over and charge you money for not being Russian), but most things were positive (packed shows with very kind and appreciative fans – a lot of Vodka parties and meeting great people). "Russian Roulette" is our way of giving people hope who live in a country where minorities get stabbed to death in the subway by Nazi-skinheads and where cops are more corrupt than anywhere else. Russia is a country where unity within subcultures is more important than anywhere else. The song is also our way of saying "thank you" for the massive support we get there!

It's also a small tour report about those four days so that everybody involved in that tour will never forget this great time!

The original version of "Russian Roulette" was on a benefit compilation for the antifascist Action in Russia on True Rebel Records. The new version is on our current album SUBZERO on People Like You Records. Producer is Waldemar Sorychta – who leveled the song up to a maximum for the album.

The Day Sid Stabbed Nancy?
(Gibson) On this day in 1978, While living at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City, Sex Pistol Sid Vicious called the police to say that someone had stabbed his girlfriend Nancy Spungen. He was arrested and charged with her murder and placed in the detox unit of a New York prison. Gibson takes a look back: Just before lunchtime on October 12, 1978, the Chelsea Hotel in New York City would become the site of one of rock and roll's greatest tragedies. Sid Vicious, of Sex Pistols notoriety, and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen had retreated into reclusive heroin-fueled oblivion as Vicious' rock and roll persona finally caught up with him and all around him.

Vicious was the toast of New York's punk scene. The motorcycle jacket, the chains, the skinny heroin frame and that post-Elvis lip snarl had made Vicious the best-known of the anti-social Sex Pistols. Sid and Nancy were the punk John and Yoko, except rather than propagating peace and love; they chose a darker, drug-laced existence to make their mark in rock and roll mythology.

When a hotel worker went into Room 100 of the Chelsea Hotel he discovered a half-dressed, blood-covered body of a young woman lying on the floor, a deep wound in her stomach. The bed was also covered in blood. The hotel called an ambulance and police searched the room, discovering drugs, drug paraphernalia, a blood-stained hunting knife and Nancy's boyfriend Sid wandering the hallway in a state of confusion.

Sid's story of events was inconclusive. more on this story

Sources close to Diddy tell us ... he is aware of the situation and has launched an internal investigation to find the person responsible.

A rep for Diddy had no comment.
