STEVE MILLER OPENS BOOK OF DREAMS 'INTHESTUDIO' FOR HIS LATEST CHAPTER ON ITS 35TH ANNIVERSARY:

Dallas, TX - MAY 14, 2012. North American syndicated rock radio show InTheStudio: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands plays host to Texas guitarmeister Steve Miller for the 35th anniversary of his classic Book of Dreams. While recording his iconic Fly Like An Eagle album in '75-'76, Miller found himself with a second album of top-shelf material including the Top 10 single “Jet Airliner”, “Jungle Love”, ”Swingtown”, the steamy guitar blues “Sacrifice” and the moody “Winter Time”, selling millions of copies again. Miller is in a line of world-class Texas blues guitarists that include T-Bone Walker (who taught the little boy how to play the guitar behind his head and do the splits at the same time) and Stevie Ray Vaughan. As Steve points out to host Redbeard, there has always been an important element to the success of his live shows.
“I always made people dance when I played. I can make people get up and dance. And to me that's always a real important part of what I do.”
InTheStudio is syndicated on over 50 radio stations across North America. The Steve Miller/ InTheStudio program will air on radio this weekend. To stream this interview online, visit: www.inthestudio.net/online-on-demand/steve-miller-band-book-ofdreams-35th-anniversary/”.
