Eric Roberts is set to star in ABC drama pilot Grace
Eric Roberts is set to star in ABC drama pilot Grace, from writer Krista Vernoff. A dysfunctional family drama set in the world of professional dance, it centers on Michael Grace (Roberts), a famous choreographer who tends to sleep with his dancers and has three daughters with different mothers. A much better dance teacher than he is a father, he is in danger of losing his studio until one of his daughters steps in as studio manager. Mad Men helmer Lesli Linka Glatter is directing the pilot, which has added Flody Suarez as an exec producer, joining Vernoff and Carrie Ann Inaba. Mia Michaels (So You Think You Can Dance?) will do the choreography. ICM-repped Roberts' series credits include Starz's Crash and NBC's Heroes.
