Prince has announced a series of concerts in North Carolina and South Carolina

(RTTNews) - Prince has announced a series of concerts in North Carolina and South Carolina as part of his "Welcome 2 America" tour.

The "Purple Rain" star will be performing on March 21 at the Columbia, South Carolina Colonial Life Arena with special guests Mint Condition; March 23 at the Raleigh, North Carolina RBC Center with guest Chaka Khan; March 24 at the Charlotte Time Warner Cable Arena with guest Anthony Hamilton; March 26 at the Greensboro, North Carolina Coliseum with Chaka Khan; March 28 at the Greenville, South Carolina Bi-Lo Center with Lalah Hathaway and March 30 North Charleston, South Carolina at the North Charleston Coliseum with Lalah Hathaway.
Prince's previous dates in New York, New Jersey, and the Bay Area featured guest appearances by Cassandra Wilson, the New Power Generation, Esperanza Spalding, Maceo Parker, Sheila E., and Larry Graham.
