There's no love lost between the Guns N' Roses singer and his former guitarist. But in a short video shot by GnR fan Ollie Fabeck in Paraguay last week, Rose takes great pleasure in getting personal about his former friend.

"It was great, 'cause he would pass out and piss his pants, and then I would get to be with the girl," Rose says. "So I always followed Slash 'cause I knew he would pass out and I would get the girl. Promoter AJ Maddah, who (despite the recently-cancelled Soundwave Revolution with Van Halen) has been behind many successful tours, confirmed reports that Love wanted out because she didn't want to play support to Limp Bizkit.

"That seems to be the excuse," Maddah tweeted. "Funny that they reconfirmed after seeing the rest of the line-up and artwork," Maddah later posted. Some Hope For Disturbed Future
(Banana 101.5) Disturbed Guitarist Dan Donegan spoke to Billboard regarding the nature of the band's hiatus and when, if ever, we will hear music from the band again:

"We're not stopping to pursue other things — at least I'm not. We're kind of looking to just go away for a bit, give the fans a little bit of a break, give ourselves a bit of a break. There's not some great game plan or design to all of this. I don't know if it will be six months or six years or whatever. I really don't. It's kind of scary to me to think, 'What if we don't return?' That part of it bothers me."

Despite his fear that the band is finished, Donegan reassured fans that he doesn't believe that Disturbed is going away for good: "My hopes are if we're away from it long enough we're gonna want it that much more. I like to think that as much as we've done together and how good the chemistry has been in the band, there's going to come a time — hopefully sooner than later — that we're gonna turn around and say, 'Man, I f—in' miss this. I want to get back there.' I'll be surprised if that doesn't happen, really." more on this story

As for the rumblings of a Black Sabbath reunion with Ozzy, Iommi seems open to the idea to recording with him, "It's like when we had Ronnie James Dio with us, we broke up, got back together, did another album and tour. You can never tell. We got back together with Ozzy in 1997 and toured so you never know what's around the corner." Read the full interview

Ulrich explains how the conversation unfolded after he "facilitated" a dinner with the director. Singled Out: Kidneythieves' The Invisible Plan
Today Free Dominguez from Kidneythieves tells us about the title track to their brand new EP "The Invisible Plan". Here is the story:

Most kidneythieves songs do not transpire in linear fashion and The Invisible Plan is no exception. I've always visualized the next album during the near completion of the current one. Bruce bought a new synthesizer that had very strong and clear sounds, and he was just starting to play around with it. I instantly liked the groove and the bass synth that started The Invisible Plan. So visceral and raw.

Imagery of a futuristic Kali destroying the city streets at 3 a.m. came to mind, as if she were clearing the way for only those who obeyed the laws of nature. Using the dream as power in real life almost seemed to become the basis of what one needed to survive in this. Then came the EP; the thread tying in these two stories -- everything we think, dream, project -- used positively, become weapons of change. They are invisible to the eye, but are the seeds of power.

During this time I was also listening to a lot of The Roots "How I Got Over" (I love Black Thought's lyrical genius) and it really got me thinking about how I could blend these thoughts of "an invisible plan" and people coming together. Using the mind to create things is an art, and it's a hustle….3 a.m. starts to bring a sun rise—how are we gonna get what we want in this world—no one can do it alone, we gotta do it together, bringing the invisible into light. Most of the lyrics happened when I was driving at night in LA. There's a lot to think about at night and about surviving in this town alone….These are the things that I thought, made it into the song—and as usual, Bruce and I were on the same page musically. Done.
