(RTTNews) - Dave Mustaine has revealed that he is more proud of Megadeth's upcoming album, TH1RT3EN, than of any other Megadeth release.
The Megadeth frontman said of the album, which is the band's thirteenth studio release: "This record is the culmination of my work over the 13 records I recorded. There are moments on TH1RT3EN that capture my every emotion, and other moments where I am releasing feelings I never knew existed! My proudest moments of my musical career are captured on TH1RT3EN." He added that the title had personal significance for him, explaining: "I was born on September 13th; this is my 13th record. It just seemed like it was the right thing to do to call it TH1RT3EN."
The album—which will be released on November 1-features the return of bassist and founding band member Dave Ellefson and was produced at Mustaine's Vic's Garage studio in San Marcos, California with producer Johnny K.
