Against Me! Singer Loses Teeth During Onstage Melee
(CBS Local) As if recently transgendered Against Me! frontwoman Laura Jane Grace wasn't facing enough obstacles, the newly female frontwoman now faces dental surgery after being hit by a microphone during an on-stage melee.

According to Punknews.org, the band's Wilmington, NC show went sideways last Wednesday night when a group of fans jumped on stage.

In true punk rock spirit, and seemingly unfazed by the loss of teeth, Grace dealt diplomatically with the incident and joked about the possibilities of a new grill. Read the tweets here.

Rolling Stones Explain High Ticket Prices
(Gibson) The Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood has defended the ticket prices for the band's up-coming shows in London and New Jersey. These are the only four shows as-yet confirmed for the band, but ticket prices have been debated widely on fan forums.

Tickets for the London shows range from £90 to a deluxe "VIP package" priced at £950 (circa $1500). But Wood says that the band don't feel bad about the price of a ticket for the shows at the O2 Arena (25 and 29 November) and Newark Prudential Center (13 and 15 December) as they have already spent millions on the gigs.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Wood said: "We've already spent a million on rehearsing in Paris. And the stage is going to be another few million. And the lights. We feel no bad thing about ticket prices. We've got to make something." more on this story

Singled Out: Ill Nino
() Today Christian Machado of Ill Nino tells us about their new song "The Depression" from their brand new album "Epidemia". Here is the story:

"The Depression" is just one of the 10 faces that define the character within "Epidemia". Epidemia is the Spanish word for Epidemic. It is simply a nickname that I gave this state of mind which brings us closer to the question of life and death.

"The Depression" is not a political statement nor is it a social statement. It's a very personal song that demands from the more obscure side of our feelings. To simplify, it can also be seen as a song about how a lone psychotic gunman could walk into a theater and remove many living souls from this ride we call life. It simply is about a state of mind and the tragedy which occurs when all faith is lost.

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and check out the lyric video right here!

Def Leppard Discuss Jimi Hendrix Legacy
(CBS Local) November 27th marks 70 years since the birth of Jimi Hendrix, the man who changed electric guitar and rock and roll forever. Throughout November, CBS Local will remember the legendary musician's life and career.

We recently spoke with Def Leppard about Hendrix, and guitarist Phil Collen called him "the ultimate rock guitar player, the most amazing guitar player of all time." Singer Joe Elliott, meanwhile, marveled at Hendrix's abilities not only through the amp, but also on the mic.

In their exclusive video, Joe Elliott references their cover of Hendrix's "Manic Depression." If you're wondering where that's from, don't look in Def Leppard's discography. Elliott and Collen had a side project called the Cyberauts, with bassist Trevor Bolder and drummer Mick "Woody" Woodmansey (both from David Bowie's Spiders From Mars band). Their cover of "Manic Depression" is on their 2001 EP The Further Adventures Of The Cybernauts. Collen has also covered Hendrix's "Fire" with his other band, Man Raze. Check out the video here.

While in Russia, frontman Ian Gillan was interviewed for Russian TV and discussed a variety of current, mostly politically-based topics, including the economics of the EU, and freedom of speech issues both in Russia and Gillan's native UK.

On the subject of the jailed Russian band, Pussy Riot, Gillan replied, "Even worse, it's happening in my country. We used to have freedom of speech; we used to be able to speak freely in England. It's not possible anymore. You can't talk about sex, you can't talk about religion, you can't talk about race, you can't talk about archetypical images...there are laws against it."
