A last-minute illness sidelined rocker Ozzy Osbourne over the weekend, forcing the former Black Sabbath frontman to postpone his Sunday night show in Reno, Nevada.
A statement from Live Nation spokesman Chris Martinez was released to the media on early Sunday, January 30. He explained that "based on advice from doctors, it is with great regret that Ozzy Osbourne is postponing his show . . . at the Reno Event Center." No further information was released regarding Ozzy's ailment.
The show has been postponed until April 23, when tickets for this weekend's performance will be honored. Those desiring a refund can get one at their point of purchase.
Nevada residents that can't wait another three months to catch the Prince of Darkness will be able to catch the "Crazy Train" singer on television this week. Ozzy is expected to appear in a commercial alongside teen heartthrob Justin Bieber during the Super Bowl.
