Boston punk rockers Dropkick Murphys have revealed that Bruce Springsteen has lent his voice to a track on their upcoming album, Going Out in Style.
The Boss teams up with the Boston mainstays on a cover of "Peg O' My Heart," a tune that originally appeared in the 1913 musical Ziegfeld Follies.
Said Murphys' singer Ken Casey of his duet with Springsteen, "It links two generations. We're spanning a lot of years of music here, yet our songs share similar themes, stories, and values."
The Boss' cameo isn't the only one on Going Out In Style. NOFX's Fat Mike and Chris Cheney of Aussie punks the Living End make appearances on the album too.
Dropkick Murphys will tour the U.S. throughout February and March. The album drops on March 1.
