VIDEO: Cheap Trick rock NHL post-game in Tampa Bay
It’s a rare sight in Florida, but it does happen from time to time: I’m talking about an NHL Playoff game in May.
As the Tampa Bay Lightning battle the Boston Bruins in the Eastern Conference Finals, there was a rumbling sound outside the St. Pete’s Forum on May 21, following game 4 of the series (Tampa won the game 5-2 to ties the series at two apiece.).
It was Cheap Trick.
The legendary Illinois band packed in the fans outside the Forum for a 12-song, 50-minute set of high-energy rock, full of classic Trick songs, with a few covers thrown in.
