The Rolling Stones have confirmed new details on their forthcoming box set titled The Rolling Stones Single (1971-2006). The set will include all 45 of the band's singles from the period starting with "Brown Sugar" and running through to 2006's "Biggest Mistake."
Each single will be featured on its own CD and will have a mix of outtakes and previously unreleased tracks. The set will include a total of 173 songs, 80 of which have never been released by the band.
In addition to the massive new chunk of music, the band is also including a 32-page hard-cover photo journal complete with an interview with bassist Bill Wyman. All will be housed in a hard-sided pink box featuring the Stone's iconic lips logo prominently on the front.
The Stones have also made headlines recently after denying rumors that they are planning to connect for a tour later this year. This rumor first broke when details from a lawsuit involving promotion giant Live Nation leaked onto the web.
